After graduating from UCSD with a BA in communications, I began
my career as a technical writer. While I've developed a wide range
of skills in the ensuing years - eventually leading or serving
as a consultant for communications strategies in global
high-tech organizations - my focus has always involved communicating
technical and complex information in a manner that is understandable
to the intended audience. In addtion to writing, training, and media
development, I also enjoy public relations, teaching, and mentoring activities.
Earning my MA in Educational Technology at SDSU enhanced those skills as well as my ability
to use new media communications tools.
